Nature’s Apprentice Farm

Nature’s Apprentice Farm

Joanna Jack & Alberto Suarez-Esteban

Nature’s Apprentice Farm was born out of our desire to feed our community by learning from and partnering with Nature. Our mission is to empower and inspire you to have healthier, delicious family meals while knowing that your choices are contributing to the betterment of our community and our planet. We also try to reinforce our connection to food and Nature.
We use regenerative agriculture techniques such as no-till, cover crops, animal integration, deep mulches, and dense and diverse plantings to grow a variety of products. We don’t use any chemicals whatsoever, not even those approved for organic production. We are obsessed with bringing more life to the farm, and have created a wetland that is full of frogs and toads, houses for bats, birds and bees, and planted hedgerows of perennial flowers, shrubs and trees to provide them with habitat. Our visitors often remark how loud the farm is, not with human noise, but with wildlife.
We offer vegetables A la carte, salad subscriptions, pasture-raised eggs, u-cut flowers and very soon u-pick berries! We love showing the farm to our clients, making it their own, but we also offer convenient home delivery in Pakenham, Blakeney and Almonte. We also help people transform their backyards into abundant and beautiful spaces for both their families and wildlife.
We encourage everyone to sign up for our newsletter to know what is available every week, to hear about events and workshops, and to keep up to date with exciting developments at the farm.
We look forward to meeting you and showing you around!
