Desjardins Farm
Guy & Donna Desjardins
“Our Brussels sprouts last up to two weeks: we sell them on the stalk so people get to see how they grow,” says Guy Desjardins. A graduate of Kemptville College’s Agriculture Program, Guy and his wife Donna have been farming together for 35 years. With a 9-acre market garden, a greenhouse, an orchard and 75 free-range cattle to manage, sons Christian and Jason work hard alongside their parents to keep things running smoothly. The Desjardins eat what they grow and love selling farm-fresh produce fit for their own table.
